My story

I've proved it from the bottom, more than once.

You can start at the very bottom, with nothing, and that doesn't have to be where you end. You choose.

I was born in Truro and raised in Falmouth, the poorest background in Cornwall. Some days there was no food; when there was, it was cornflakes or toast. Foster care as a kid. An assault at seventeen that meant starting again with nothing. I don't share any of that for sympathy. I share it because it's why I can see what's really going on for the women I work with.

I've always been a builder, not a buyer. Give me a problem and my first instinct is to work it out, make it, or teach myself the answer. Alongside my own story, I bring the practical skills I picked up managing a shop for Boots, working in film, and working in events. Real work, real numbers, real pressure. That's the mix I pass on: the belief to start, and the practical know-how to keep going.

Today I co-run Vector Rope Access UK Ltd with my partner Johnny, a real construction business, not a side project: site visits, invoices, risk assessments, the lot. I'm also raising a big blended family, five kids between us. None of this happened because life got easier. It happened because I kept building anyway.

The aim is simple and it's big. Help a million women step into their power, back themselves, and never worry about money again.
